A STORY OF MAGICK & CREATIVITY
Born from a deep reverence for the old ways, Witch's Mark was conjured into existence in 2022 by Daryl Lightheart to bridge the gap between ancient magick and modern creation. We all know that transformative feeling of stepping into a sacred space—where the grounding, timeless aroma of Nag Champa fills your lungs and instantly reconnects you to a sense of pure, innocent awe. Driven by this memory, Daryl set out to bottle that sanctuary. Hand-poured and deeply inspired by the elemental forces of nature, our candles are crafted to bring that profound, comforting magick directly into the heart of your home.

HANDMADE WITH INTENTION
NATURAL FOUNDATIONS
Witch's Mark strives to curate products that are as natural as possible without compromising quality. Our candles are made from a coconut wax blend that burns cleaner and lasts longer than traditional soy & paraffin wax candles. Scents are inspired by nature and are a custom blend of essential oils and premium phthalate-free fragrance oils. We use eco-friendly wooden wicks, which provide a soothing crackling effect.

Our offerings extend beyond candles to elevate your space and practice. Our reed diffusers are made with a vegan carrier oil and natural rattan reeds. Our ritual sprays are made with a base of crystal-infused moon water & witch hazel. Each product is crafted with a little bit of magick and is proudly hand-made in Calgary, Alberta.
HISTORY OF A WITCH'S MARK
A witch's mark was believed to be a marking somewhere on a witch's body which was used to help identify witches during the witch trials that took place predominately in the 16th century. Those accused of witchcraft were put on trial and their bodies were carefully examined for these markings, which could be anything from moles and skin tags to patches of insensitive skin. The examiners claimed to be able to tell the difference between a natural marking and a witch's mark, which left the life of the accused in the hands of the inquisitor.
Witch's Mark is dedicated to those who were accused, harmed or lost their life during the witch trials.

Being a witch himself and a proud cat-dad Daryl strives to make the lives of our familiars better. Witch's Mark donates $1 from the sale of every candle & diffuser to The MEOW foundation, a local charity in Calgary, Alberta dedicated to rescuing, feeding, neutering and caring for our feline friends.
